Sarah Tobias, representing the Website Committee, gave an update on website revisions and requested permission for the Committee to send out a survey asking residents for input on the website.  This will be a simple survey, Ms. Tobias read the questions that the Committee had put together.  After discussion of the proposed questions it was agreed that two questions would be removed.  The Board approved the survey with the removal of the two questions.  The Committee also plans on asking the Town Boards and Committees what their needs are in relation to the website.  The Committee has looked at several other municipal websites and they are currently “playing” with a fake website that allows modifications and changes.

Anne Booth, representing the ConCom informed the Board that the ConCom will be starting to meet in person.  Ms. Booth wanted to verify that two LUCT (land use tax) payments had been deposited into the Conservation Fund, and that San-Ken had paid the invoice for Fieldstone Consultants, the response was yes to her questions.

Sandy Eneguess:

Discussion of internet access and SB85, which is in the State Senate.  This bill would provide matching funds for municipalities to upgrade internet access.

Carl Newton:

  • Asked about appointment as Deputy Road Agent, Mr. Eneguess stated that Mr. Newton was appointed as Deputy when he, Mr. Eneguess was appointed Road Agent.
  • Mr. Eneguess and Mr. Newton are trying to determine whether they should pave in 2021 or wait until 2022.  They will keep the Board informed on their decision.
