Dear Town of Sharon resident:
A Town Shed committee has been called to action to determine the optimal site location for the Sharon Town Shed.
This site will be used for the building of a sand/salt shed and storage of road equipment and supplies.
The committee has been tasked with
1) developing a list of possible sites;
2) analyzing those sites
against a specific set of criteria (such as site prep costs, safe access, and environmental impact)
3) making a final recommendation to the Sharon selectman about where to locate the Town Shed.
We are currently compiling a list of possible site locations for evaluation and would welcome any site
suggestions you may have. These could be town-owned sites or private properties (ideally, private properties that could be donated to the town). Please provide any site suggestions to one of the following Town Shed
committee members by August 15th.
Feel free to keep in touch with committee members as the project continues through the year.
